How to install stowES? Since `stowES' uses autoconf for installation the same commands as for any other autoconf-application apply: ./configure make install When using `stow' you should do the following: ./configure make install prefix=/usr/local/stow/stowES-0.x Prerequisites You will need to have installed the following programs: make, md5sum, stow, gzip, bzip2, tar, rm, cat, mv, strip, ldd, uname If you don't have all of these programs installed, stowES will refuse to work (you can fool stowES with the `--prog' option but it may not work properly after this!). Configuration If you want to use a configuration file, you can put it to /etc/stowESrc or ~/.stowESrc. Problems? Bugs? If you find a bug or other things which annoy you feel free to mail to and tell me about it. Adam
