Ho to create a data base entry for sformat:

	Be nice to other users of sformat.

Create database (sformat.dat) entries for disks that are not in the data base
using the -Proto flag and mail them to the author. This helps other users
and you too.

Sformat in general needs no no data base entry in order to format a disk.
But newer disks tend to need a long time for formatting. If the 
formatting timeout value is too low, the formatting process will be aborted.

For that reason, it it nice to know the real formatting time.
As sformat currently does not check the formatting time when creating the
disk database entry, the time in the database entry is only an estimated
value and may be wrong.

Please do two checks after creating a database entry:

	1)	Format the disk and remember the formatting time
		in seconds. Sformat prints it out after formatting
		the disk.

	2)	Call sformat -verify for the new disk and remember
		the verify time. Sformat prints this time if you
		call sformat to do one verify loop in standalone mode.

Then edit the file proto.dat that has been generated by sformat 
and mofify the entries format_time & verify_time to relect the
correct values.

If you are finished with the database entry, you may append it
to the main database located in /opt/schily/etc/sformat.dat
