SYNOPSIS

       nctopd [-dhV] [-u user ] [-w seconds ] [-p port ]

DESCRIPTION

       Nctopd  is  the nctop daemon. It delivers on request the current system
       state to the client.

OPTIONS

       -d     daemon mode

       -h     display a one line usage information

       -V     version information information

       -u user
              nctopd will run with the user and group privileges of user.  The
              usage  of  this option is recommended, if nctopd is run from the
              root account.

       -p port
              contact the daemon on network port port

       -w seconds
              update the host state every seconds seconds
