      "APPLICATION">lpr</b> binary (-l) format</a></h1>

      <p>The binary (or literal) format is <var class=
      "LITERAL">-l</var>. The <var class="LITERAL">:if</var> filter
      is used to process the file, and is invoked with the <var
      class="LITERAL">-c</var> (<var class="LITERAL">c</var>ancel
      processing?) flag.</p>

      <p>The filter will not modify the file when sending it to the
      printer, but may apply various setups to the printer.</p>
