          <p><var class="LITERAL">stalled_time=</var><span class=
          "emphasis"><i class="EMPHASIS">seconds after which to
          report a stalled active job</i></span></p>

      <p>The <var class="LITERAL">stalled_time</var> option is
      actually used by the <b class="APPLICATION">lpd</b> server to
      report that a job has been active more than the indicated
      time with no change in state. This is useful for spotting
      things such a printers that are out of paper, and so
      forth.</p>
