      <p>Options used:</p>

      <p>The <tt class="COMMAND">lpr -m mailaddr</tt> option will
      put the specified mailaddr value into the control file. How
      this is processed is left to the particular server
      implementation. See the <a href="abnormalterm.htm">Abnormal
      Termination</a> section for details.</p>

      <p><b class="APPLICATION">LPRng</b> extends the <tt class=
      "COMMAND">lpr -m mailaddr</tt> to allow mail addresses of the
      form <var class="LITERAL">host[%port][/(TCP|UPD)]</var>, and
      when the job is being transferred or printed the <b class=
      "APPLICATION">lpd</b> server to open a connection to the
      specified TCP/IP address and send job progress information.
      This is a security loophole and the <var class=
      "LITERAL">allow_user_logging</var> flag must be present to
      allow this operation.</p>

      <p>The <var class="LITERAL">lpr_bsd</var> will cause the <tt
      class="COMMAND">lpr -m</tt> option not to take an argument,
      as in the BSD lpr, and will place the users name and host
      information in the control file as the destination for
      notification.</p>
