The additional MAME files have been installed.

To use them in an emulator you have to make symlinks.

For example, to use the cheats in XMAME (user installation):

$ ln -s /usr/local/share/mame/cheat.dat ~/.xmame

Many MAME GUIs however, can be configured to locate them where they are.
